It emphasizes theoretical foundations, advanced problem-solving, and emerging technologies such as Al, data science, and cloud computing. This choice better prepares students for high-tech industries, interdisciplinary research, and future academic expansion, aligning with Liberia’s aspirations for technological growth and leadership.
Mission of the Department

The mission of the Computer Science Department at Bong County Technical College is:

  • To provide students with a strong foundation in computer science principles and emerging technologies through rigorous coursework, research opportunities, and practical, hands-on experience, preparing them for diverse career paths in industry, government, and academia.
  • To develop a culture of creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration by promoting interdisciplinary research and establishing partnerships with industry stakeholders to solve real-world technological challenges.

Objectives of the Program

The Department of Computer Science at Bong County Technical College aims to:

The Computer Science Department at Bong County Technical College offers the following four specialized tracks to meet the needs of various industries:
