Academic prerequisites

ENTRANCE/PLACEMENT EXAMS REQUIREMENTS

  • Three exams are administered within an academic year;
  • Two at the beginning of the academic year;
  • One at the beginning of 2nd semester; the dates of these placement exams are announced during each semester;
  • Come along with a valid BCTC placement test registration receipt and a valid photo ID card.
  • Placement test results are out one week after test is taken.
  • Entrance Exams Fees is four thousand (4,000) Liberian Dollars
  • Waec/wassce certificate
  • An online checker card to validate certificate
  • High school diploma
  • High school transcript (grades 10 -12)
  • Two letters of recommendation

A. Last school attended;

  • One manila folder& hanging file
  • Medical certificate from any of hospitals listed in the medical form;
  • Two passport size photos;
  • A Citizen ID card;

Test scores (entrance exam passing marks)

During registration, all students are required to pay their full fees before enrollment

Old Student: $ 75.00USD

New Student: $83.00USD

Other fees payment

Re-admission package: $10.00USD

Transcript: $25.00USD

International Students

  • A Valid Passport.
  • An Error-free Visa Application.
  • Proof of Being a Bonafide Student.
  • A Compelling Statement Of Purpose (SOP)
  • University Confirmation Letter and Fees Receipts.
  • Two Letters of Recommendation (LORs)
  • Original Academic Certificates and Transcripts.
  • Wace/Wassce

Transfer students Requirements

  • Documents from previous school (transcripts, letter of recommendation, WACE/WASSEC Certificate with online checker chip to check result online)
  • Medical certificate from any of the below hospitals:
  1. Phebe Hospital-Suakoko, Bong County
  2. B. Dunbar Hospital-Gbarnga City
  3. Baptist Clinic-Kokoyah Road, Gbarnga Bong County
  4. Tapeta Hospital-Nimba County
  5. John F. Kennedy Hospital-Monrovia, Montserrado County
  6. H. Rennie Hospital Kakata, Margibi  County
  7. Joseph Catholic Hospital-Monrovia-Montserrado County
  8. Ganta United Methodist Hospital- Nimba County
  9. Firestone Hospital-Margibi County

  1. All New Students, first drop all required documents in the office of the Dean of Admission/ obtain Admission Letter
  2. Go to office of student affairs to sign your behavior bond and obtain a signature, (New Students)
  3. Both Old/New Students, collect your control sheet from your department chair (Make 1 photocopy)
  4. Go to your Academic Advisor to help you plan your courses on the photocopies
  5. Transfer your data on the original control sheet and obtain your Advisor’s Signature
  6. Take your control sheet to the Finance Offices for billing- [proceed to the bank for payment after billing]
  7. Attach your bank receipt to your control sheet and take it back to the Finance Section of BCTC;
  8. Take your approved control sheet/BCTC official receipt for faculty approval I. Make sure to photocopy your control sheet.
  9. Finally, go to the registrar’s office to drop your original control sheet
