Bong Technical College Staffers End Website Management Training.
Two staffers of the Bong County Technical College have ended a three day intensive capacity building training in website management.
The training which was sponsored by the administration of the College was part of efforts to strengthen it’s public relations and provide both students and the public assess to information from the College outside of its main campus.
The two staffers, public relations officer Clarence Jackson, and G. Welikermah Gbanyan from the IT department were trained at the main office of ComNet IT Solutions in the Duport road community, outside Monrovia.
ComNet IT Solutions is the Institution that constructed that constructed the Bong County Technical College website.
Speaking during the formal opening of the training, the administrator of ComNet IT Solutions Zac Deranamie described the training as a new beginning in strengthening the existing relationship between the two institutions.
Mr. Deranamie said, he was glad that the administration of the Bong County Technical College taught on training it’s staffers to make the work of the Company easier.
He said, it was important for the website of the College to be regularly updated for the benefit of the students and the public.
For his part, the lead facilitator of the training Mr. Ahmed A. Kanneh who is a website developer challenged the two Bong County Technical College staffers to always ensure the placement of new contents on the website to keep it updated.
The two staffers were trained in how to access the website, content management system, understanding the dashboard, editing contents on posts and pages, editing and adding media contents and accessing widgets among others.
